Inauguration of Kaliningrad Waste Water Treatment Plant

Kaliningrad Wastewater Treatment Plant was inaugurated on 7 June 2017 and is fully operational.

The new wastewater treatment plant is equipped to clean 150,000 cubic metres of water a day. The treatment fulfils the recommendations of the Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission HELCOM with regard to phosphorus and organic matter.
